What To Expect

What to Expect

On Sunday mornings at Faith you’ll find people just like you: young and old, single and married, dressed casually and dressed “churchy.”
No matter your age or style you are welcome! Our greeters and staff will help you with whatever you need: where to hang your coat, connecting your children to our Kids or Youth ministry, getting a great cup of coffee, and finding your way to worship.

All of our services offer preaching, drawn from Scripture, that speaks to everyday life and is centered on Jesus, His redeeming work for us, and the life we are called to live as His disciples.

Our many ministries exist to help you grow in your faith in Jesus and connect with other people just like you. Our staff would love to visit with you!

Worship

Confirmation Sunday - Oct. 20 @ 9:30am

On Confirmation Sunday, we will celebrate alongside 11 high school confirmands and their families as they publicly confirm their baptismal faith in Jesus. These Confirmands, along with every Christian, have been made righteous in God’s eyes and are called to live out their righteousness in the world every day.

Traditional Worship - 8:30 a.m.

Worship including liturgy and hymns led by the pipe organ and special music from various musical ensembles. A special children’s message during the service explains the weekend’s sermon in language that’s easy for them to understand.

Contemporary Worship - 10:45 a.m.

Worship music led by the Praise Team and special music from various musical ensembles. A special children’s message during the service explains the weekend’s sermon in language that’s easy for them to understand.

Staffed Nursery Care for children birth to age 3 is available all morning. Our nursery is located next to the coffee bar in the Concourse. Worship services are live-streamed into the nursery so families can still worship in the nursery.

Holy Communion

Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays during both services. Holy Communion is a gift of God and an expression of our unity in Christian faith.

We invite and welcome to the Lord’s Table those who joyfully affirm the following:

+ I believe that I am a sinner and I repent of my sins.
+ I believe that in eating this bread and drinking this wine, I am receiving the Lord’s true body and blood.
+ I believe that my sins are forgiven in this sacrament and I will strive to amend my life by the power of the Holy Spirit.
+ I have been baptized.
+ I have been prepared for Holy Communion through instruction.

If you have questions regarding our Communion practices and beliefs, please talk to Pastor Peter.

Education Hour

Traditional Worship - 8:30 a.m.

From birth to adults we have a way for everyone to connect during our education hour from 9:45-10:40am on Sundays.

Experience for yourself our top notch children and youth programs. Adults are invited to attend one of the many classes offered throughout the year.
