Sunday Morning (9:45-10:40am):
Organic Outreach - with Pastor Ben and Lyle Heggemeier in the Auditorium
For those who attended this class in the spring, this is NOT a repeat. For those who weren’t in this class – you won’t be lost or feel left out. The book and DVD for this class includes the subtitle, “Sharing Good News Naturally” and that’s exactly what this class is intended to do, to help each of us to share the good news of Jesus naturally. The truth is, most of us want to share our faith, but we don’t want it to feel awkward, uncomfortable, or unnatural...for them or us! This class will help you pass on the good news of Jesus in a natural way. No memorizing Bible passages or learning a new “system” – just discovering how to share Jesus as you live your normal life. Join us each Sunday morning.
Grief Share Class - with Donna Kaser in the Community Room (Beginning Oct. 1)
Grief, particularly at the death of a loved one, can seem overwhelming. But encouragement and help can assist us in the journey from mourning to joy. Grief Share is a class/support group that is designed to help those experiencing grief in that journey. Faith will be hosting a new Grief Share class, led by Donna Kaser, beginning Sunday, October 1 during the Education Hour (9:45- 10:40). For more information, you may talk to either Lyle Heggemeier or Donna Kaser.
Monday Evening (7-8:15pm):
A Man Named Martin: Part 3 – The Movement - with Lyle Heggemeier in the Community Room
This class, a continuation of the Sunday morning class from this summer, focuses upon the history and theological issues that arose out of the Reformation and still impact us today. There were so many things happening in the 1500s—theological, societal, and technological changes—and so much of who we (Americans) are and what we believe (Christianity) is a direct outgrowth of that time period. Join us each Monday evening from 7:00-8:15 in the Community Room as we learn and discuss these key events.
