Sunday School 2019-2020:
Our Sunday School for ages 3-6th grade will resume on Sunday, September 8 at 9:45. Children age 3 through 2nd grade all receive their own copy of "My First Hands on Bible". Children 3rd grade through 6th grade all receive their own copy of the "Hands on Bible". Children age 3 through Kindergarten will be in a classroom setting that uses the "Hands On Bible Curriculum". Children in 1st through 6th grade will follow a rotation model using curriculum created at Faith Lutheran. The rotation model has children learning the same Bible story (sometimes different parts of the story or through a different perspective) for 3 weeks in three different classrooms through games, art, crafts, video and online learning tools. If you would like more information, contact Steve and Carrie Ford at email@example.com
VBS 2019 was a great success! We had over 245 children join us for our Wild, Wild West VBS. You can view the 2019 VBS slideshow here. A thank you to the more than 90 volunteers who made VBS 2019 successful.
During both Sunday worship services, children are invited forward for a Children's Message. At the 8:30 service children will return to their pews to worship with their families after the Children's message. At the 10:45 service, Kid's Time is available for children ages 3 through 3rd grade following the Children's Message. Children will go to the library and learn about one of the Bible lessons of the day and complete games, crafts and activities to reinforce the message. Children will be brought back to the sanctuary shortly after the sermon.
For infants through age 3, Faith offers Nursery Care, provided by our Nursery staff member, Julie Heidman and a youth volunteer. Nursery care is available throughout Sunday morning (including during the education hour).
We encourage you to come as a family, worship, and attend education (there are youth and adult classes, too!).
Let us know if there is anything we can do for you or your family. We look forward to seeing you!
