Mission Trip Team Returning to West Virginia
The Faith Church MISSION TRAVEL TEAM will be returning to Beards Fork, West Virginia the week of September 25-October 2, 2010.
Our focus again this year will be to assist the Southeran Appalachian Labor School (SALS) program with construction tasks in the area to improve the living conditions and lifestyle of the people in this coalfield community. The team thanks you for your ongoing prayers, contributions, and special support of the Mother’s Day Flower Sale! Watch for an announcement of the date our wine tasting event this fall, hosted by Tom and Nancy Hammond.
Final sign-up forms for this year’s trip will be available on the counter in the church office and are due back there (envelopes provided) on or before Sunday, August 15. It’s not too late to plan to join the group and make a difference in the lives of the people in the coal mining community.
